DESCRIPTION: Fresh, crisp, creative, & healthy. Great flavors, spices and types of bean, rice, pasta salads, etc. Wonderful, hearty soups that change daily, some with chicken, some vegetarian. Overall a winner, good value and nutrition.

White cloth napkins and tablecloths
DESCRIPTION: We enjoyed an early Sunday dinner (7/28). Cleanliness could be improved a bit, but overall quite a pleasant experience. The food appears to be freshly prepared and well spiced. Each room is nicely decorated.

Sit down Chinese in Clearwater
DESCRIPTION: After moving from Chicago finding a good chinese restaurant was next to impossible. Forbidden City is the next best thing, with decent food and traditional decor.

Don't be fooled by nice decor, there's a reason it's dark in there.
DESCRIPTION: You ever go to a old uncles's house who always has the lights down low in his house? He's trying hard to hide the piles of newspapers and half eaten sandwiches lying next to the pleather lazy-boy. Hey, welcome to Forbidden City where the lights are low so you can't see what you're eating; they are probably hoping you won't be able to taste it either. The gaudy Chinese artwork and tacky tableclothes are all part of the ruse, folks! DISTRACTION. The food here sucks. I won't even go into the service. FYI - I went on a Saturday night.

DESCRIPTION: The toro, Salmon roe and flying fish eggs. Try the grouper cheeks and eel for dessert. It's all good and the chefs are very friendly. Pricing is just right too! On request, they will add flying fish roe to your favorite roll.

DESCRIPTION: The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. The service is also very good. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but the quality of the atmosphere is somewhat lessened by the restaurant's small size and proximity to a major road.

Thai Food At Its Finest
DESCRIPTION: I've been going to this restaurant for two years and I have to be honest, I don't know what is better the food or the service. The menu is vast and contains Thai fare you would expect as well as surprisingly delicious nuances and variance of dishes you might not find at other Thai places. The herbs they use are grown in their own herb garden from the owner's house so everything is exceptionally piquant and zesty. I lived in Montreal for a while (great variety of restaurants) and grew up near New York City, where some of the best restaurants in the world are easy to access. So, I can tell you - these guys can compete!

Remember What It Is
DESCRIPTION: Don't expect to find a five star meal here. Don't order anything fancy. I had the "fisherman's platter", a combo of fried seafood. It was well prepared, generous and excellent. My companion had some type of Cajun Seafood and it was fine. Stick to the simple and you will be happy. This place is all about FUN and a good time. The decor is ridiculous but funny as hell. The interactive entertainment featuring wait staff and customers was nuts but a great laugh. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We were very happy with everything, and left laughing like hell. You will love this place if you want a good meal at a good price and plenty of fun. Just don't expect something that it ain't.
