***SEE BELOW*** Cut meat (chicken or beef) into 1" cubes. Put in ziploc bag with Italian salad dressing. Freeze. On camping trip (or the day you grill) remove meat from freez er and thaw (when camping I put it in a pan of cold water). Chop up veggies (pe ppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions) and then put on skewers with meat. Cook ove r medium coals. YUM!!!! from the Frozen Assets List

DESCRIPTION: The Flamingo Lodge offers great dining during the winter tourist season. In other season services may be limitted. You can enjoy the sight of great white herons, brown pelicans and maybe even a flamingo flying over the shallow waters of Flroida Bay while you dine. Try the fried shrimp with their secret recipe Jezebel sauce. This blend of horseradish and marmalade makes for a delicious seafood experience. Landlubbers will enjoy the prime rib, juicy and just the way you like it. All of this at "the end of the road" as the locals say, deep within the sub-tropical paradise of Everglades National Park.
